Our Organization

  • The Friends of LVMPD Foundation knows the needs of the agency we serve.
  • The Friends of LVMPD Foundation has no operating costs. All board members serve with no compensation, thereby insuring that every dollar donated goes directly to where it is needed, thus maximizing the community benefits of your gift.
  • The Friends of LVMPD Foundation recognizes donors and is appreciative of those who give.

Donations can consist of either cash or merchandise. Arrangements for tax deductible donations can be made by contacting the foundation at the following address and/or telephone number:

How do I know my gift will really help Clark County citizens?

All funding provided to the Foundation is used strictly to help the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department provide services to the Clark County community. The Foundation has few overhead expenses and no employees so every dollar donated is applied to the need.

How can I make gifts or pledges?

The Friends of Las Vegas Metro Police Foundation welcomes either one time donations or pledges that can be spread out over a period of time. To make a one time gift or offer a pledge of support, download the “Donor Pledge Form” fill it in, print it out and send it to the Foundation.

Can I make gifts other than cash?

Yes! The Foundation accepts a wide variety of gifts, including appreciated stocks, real estate and planned gifts as well as in-kind donations of equipment or services that can be used by the Department.

Can I dictate how my donation is to be used?

Yes! The Friends of Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department Foundation can help you designate how your gift is to be used and who benefits. For example, you could fund:

  • The purchase of badly needed law enforcement equipment, computers and software
  • The establishment of community crime prevention initiatives
  • The provision of services for victims of crime
  • Specialized training and conferences for peace officers
  • Vehicles to be used in special operations
  • Other needs identified by the Department
